Grand Valley LBS Sponsorship Program
Grand Valley Youth Cycling has launched our spring programs and we’d like to first and foremost thank all of our local bike shops (LBS) for outfitting and supporting our riders. Our program certainly wouldn’t be possible without all of you.
The Grand Valley truly is a unique and world class cycling scene and GVYC is working to develop life long riders through our programs. We are reaching out to all bike shops in the Valley because we see each of you as a valuable partner. Our riders come from different neighborhoods, backgrounds and abilities and you all are able to serve the unique needs of each rider. As we grow and begin to offer more programs to a wider age range, our need for community sponsors and partnerships also increases.
GVYC understands that growing and operating a bike shop is complex and challenging. We are excited to explore how all the Valley shops can be involved in a way that meets your shop needs in a productive way. We’ve created a list of possibilities to consider and ask that you give us some direction about what works best for you. What matters most is that you are involved with GVYC.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Traditional Sponsorships: GVYC has a variety of sponsorship levels (See Sponsorship section of website at: https://grandvalleymtb.org/support/sponsor/)
Items:
- Donate small items to be given as prizes at our short track series or other event
- Donate bike lights, helmets, knee or elbow pads
Events:
- Host short track, dual slalom, pump track race
- Host an info night at your store or other location (include race team bike checks)
- Host an end of season celebration for one of our teams
- Host a demo night for one of our teams
- Host a clinic like a bike maintenance class
Team Items:
- Sponsor team kit (jerseys, shorts, shoes or helmet)
- Sponsor practice kit
- Sponsor coaching tools like cones, flags, stunts (ramps, etc)
- Sponsor information resources like flyers, stickers, short videos
Earmarked Funds:
- Sponsor coach training
- Sponsor a scholarship
- Sponsor our dreams of a buying or building a physical location
- Sponsor a new bike lending library
- Sponsor a day ride to trail location
- Sponsor s’mores or pizza for our GVYC gatherings
- Sponsor food for our race teams on a race weekend

- Offer discounts on service or goods with a GVYC Discount Card
