GVYC Short Track Series
GYVC is excited to announce the 2026 Short Track Series at the Lunch Loops. This community event will provide fun racing opportunities in an inclusive, accessible, fun series of three events on April 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
Toe the start line with friends, riding buddies, and family for this short track race series at the Lunch Loops. It will feature all the fun that GVYC brings including quirky starts, great trails, costumes, and unique prizes. Race against others in your age group[ on this 1(ish) mile course under the cheers of spectators at the Lunch Loops Trailhead. Featuring singletrack, double track, and a short section of Monument Path, the course features a few mild climbs, some rocks, and lots of fun.
GVYC Riders can race for free (we would love a donation) and the rest of the community races for $25 for all three races in the series or $10/race. As a fundraiser, GVYC will continue to put donations and registration fees right back into programming!
The Details
Dates: Three Wednesdays. April 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
Time: 5:30-8:30pm
Location: at the world-famous Lunch Loops Trailhead.
Costumes: Encouraged! Good attitudes required.
Registration includes one race entry, a number plate, s’mores and access to the fire pit, and all the laughing and fun you can handle!
