Volunteer with GVYC in our Community
GVYC is offering two fun opportunities to volunteer at the Ride n Vibes event on May 8 and 9. For riders that are participating in the event, parent/guardians should consider hanging out downtown on Main Street in the Event Expo and help represent GVYC at our Info Tent. You can talk to the community, help sell merchandise, and have fun while your rider(s) are out on the course. We have volunteer opportunities on both Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th.

For those feeling more adventurous and want to be out on the course cheering and supporting riders, GVYC will be running the Butterknife Aid Station at the intersection of Butterknife and Third Flats Road. This remote aid station is at a critical part of the event where the Dirty 30 riders turn uphill on Third Flats and the Filthy 40 riders turn down to ride the rest of the Magellan Loop. For both sets of riders, this point in the course is important. They just rode Butterknife and are likely somewhat shellshocked, tired, and thirsty/hungry. GVYC will be supporting those riders with a Desert/Dessert Party! Music, cowbell, and lots of cheering, plus a variety of nutrition and some special GVYC dessert treats will boost energy and get the riders excited about the challenges ahead.
Sign up for a shift at the Main Street Info Tent Friday or Saturday.
